Sony VAIO, Sony Genius

Sony is a well respected brand and has been around for along time.  They constantly bring out quality products such as tv’s, stereo systems and more.  The sony vaio line of laptops is one of those quality.  The laptop I’m reviewing today is the Sony VAIO VGN-SZ140 Notebook. We have three to four certified coin auctions per week.

Some basic specs of this model include Intel Duo Processor (2.16 GHz), Microsoft Windows XP Professional (depending on vendor), Dual Layer DVD Burner, upto 2 GB RAM, upto 120GB Hard Drive and a 13.3 inch LCD screen.  The model I am reviewing has 1GB RAM and 100GB hard disk space. lagavulin whisky review

My first impression of the Sony VAIO laptop was that aesthetically it was very appealing.  It comes in choices of black and silver but I chose the silver.  It was also very light.  All too often notebooks are marketed as “ultra-portable” but weigh upwards of 3 kilos making it a struggle to lug them around. Impressive news! New trustworthy betting poker casino gambling portal is already on the run!

The Sony Vaio notebook arrived with all software pre-installed so setup wasn’t a problem.  It was simply a matter of turning it on.

The Sony Vaio loaded up very quickly which is always impressive.  One thing I noticed was that it didn’t lag on the log in screen like most pc’s do.  Once setup and running the sony vaio continued to impress me.  When doing simple thing like web surfing and word processing the sony was very quick. But what really impressed me was the performance displayed when more CPU intensive programs were used.

It didn’t lag or crash when encoding video.  This is a true testament to it’s processing ability as video encoding is very CPU intensive.  It also handled the latest games very well, although not on the highest resolution.

All in all the Sony VAIO was a pleasure to use and I would recommend it to those who want an ultra-portable notebook, and those who want some serious processing power.
