Samsung D600 As phones get more sophisticated it’s hard finding a phone that can suit you. Most people wouldn’t understand what half the features of the phone do when they go out to purchase one. I would like to review a mobile phone that made sense to me. The Samsung D600. My first impressions of the Samsung D600 was its light weight and it’s small size. Being a slider phone the Samsung D600 was only half the size of most of the phones I had already seen. Let’s go through some quick specifications of the Samsung D600. It plays polyphonic ring-tones and several audio files. It has 72mb shared memory which was more than ample. It has the usual connectivity options such as GPRS and Bluetooth. It’s listed as having a standby time of 300 hours but I found that to be considerably less. For me it lasted around 220 hours. The main feature that attracted me to this phone was the 2 mega-pixel camera. It took clear and sharp images that came up very clear on my computer. Another great feature was the television output on the phone. This enabled me to hook the phone up to the television allowing me to look at my photos or videos that I had taken. This was a great no-fuss way of looking at your multimedia from the phone. Although a great feature the novelty of this wore off pretty quickly. The Samsung D600 is an upgrade of the popular D500 model. It simply features a few upgrades such as the 8mb extra of memory and the upgrade of the mega-pixel camera from 1.2 to 2. All in all this was a great phone to use. It has great planning features such as reminders, alarms, notes, calendar etc. It’s more a business phone than a phone for personal use. |
